RK Industries · DPF cleaning

Clean filters. Clearer engines.

We clean, test, and return diesel particulate filters so trucks, buses, and equipment run with less restriction and fewer replacements.

What we do

Cleaning built around the filter, not a one-size wash.

  • 01

    DPF cleaning

Thermal and pneumatic cleaning that removes soot and ash without cutting the can or damaging the substrate.

  • 02

    DOC and catalyst care

Inspection and cleaning for diesel oxidation catalysts that sit ahead of the filter.

  • 03

    Diagnostics

Backpressure, flow, and visual checks so you know whether to clean, repair, or replace.

  • 04

    Fleet programs

Scheduled pickups, loaner filters, and volume pricing for operators who cannot sit idle.

How it works

Four steps from drop-off to a tested filter.

  1. 1

    Inspect

We log the unit, check the housing, and look for cracks, melting, or oil contamination.

  2. 2

    Clean

A controlled clean cycle breaks down soot and ash while protecting the ceramic.

  3. 3

    Test

Flow and weight checks confirm the filter is open again before it leaves the bench.

  4. 4

    Return

You get the filter back with a simple report you can keep with the vehicle file.

Why clean instead of replace

A good substrate is worth keeping.

  • Lower cost than a new unit

Cleaning is usually a fraction of a replacement DPF, especially on heavy-duty trucks.

  • Less downtime

Most jobs are turned around in a day or two, with options for urgent work.

  • Proof, not a guess

Before-and-after flow numbers show the restriction actually dropped.

  • Honest calls

If the core is cracked, melted, or oil-soaked, we say so before you pay for a clean that will not hold.

Who we work with

Any diesel that depends on a clear filter.

  • Trucks and vans
  • Buses and coaches
  • Construction equipment
  • Agricultural machinery
  • Generators and plant
  • Independent workshops

Questions

Straight answers before you book.

How do I know the filter needs cleaning?

Common signs are a DPF warning light, frequent regenerations, loss of power, or high backpressure. We can confirm with a flow test.

Can every filter be cleaned?

No. Cracked, melted, or heavily oil-contaminated cores should be replaced. We inspect first and tell you before cleaning.

Do you work on passenger cars and trucks?

Yes. Send the make, model, and engine if you have them, plus a photo of the filter tag.

How long does a clean take?

Most units are ready in 24 to 48 hours after they arrive. Call if you need a same-day slot.

Local workshop

Bring the filter in, or call first.

This is a local workshop. Drop the unit off in person. Call before you come if you want to check we can take it that day.
